Friederike Wagner

Friederike Wagner was born 1962 in Hamburg and completed her acting studies at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich. She worked at the Cologne Schauspielhaus between 1988 and 1990, after which she moved to the Schiller Theater in Berlin. Further engagements brought her to the Schauspielhaus Zurich, the National Theater in Mannheim, the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus. She has appeared in productions by Matthias Hartmann, Karin Henkel, Barbara Frey, Frank Castorf, Uwe Eric Laufenberg, Alexander Lang and Benno Besson. In 2007, she played Leontine in Triumph der Liebe and apeared in Gross und Klein at the Deutsches Theater as well as Reigen at the Schauspielhaus Zurich (all directed by Barbara Frey). Friederike has also appeared in numerous television movies, including Tatort and Bella Block. Since the 2009/10 season she has been a permanent member of the Ensemble at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, where she most recently appeard in Die Physiker (directed by Herbert Fritsch), Der Bürger als Edelmann (Directed by Werner Düggelin) and, Der Diener zweier Herren (directed by Barbara Frey).
